Rovelli, I watched him plenty of times for NZW and he did a decent job in the halves, as cover he will be a good signing for a year, lets hope it happens this week.

Does anyone know why we didn't go in for herbert? I remember his name being used a few times a couple of weeks ago, but then all went quiet until he signed for bradford. Did he command too much salary cap for what we were willing to pay this year, with long still under contract?

Maybe Herbert, and other half backs, are being put off by the one year deal aspect of it, as they know we will be recruiting for 2012 in the halves. If we already have someone lined up, and they know it, could this be putting players off? Just a thought.

He would be pretty much guaranteed 20 games at least for us due to the inevitable injuries.

Youd probably say out of him , Long & Horne that he will have the most apperances at end of year

Theres about as much chance of that as there is of the mods on here actually going to a game.



As for Rovelli, who's say that this year he comes in as cover then next he could be our six with a n other scrum half to come in and play along side him. Thats providing we get rid of Long and Horne though the chances of that are slim even if they only play in very few games.

I heard a intresting one that he had signed for Bransholme so he can keep fit until a pro club came in for him.How the mighty have fallen and that is no disrespect to Bransholme.

I'd be willing to bet a months wages that Hull have made him some kind of offer, he'll have been released by the Raiders and his agent would have banded his name around SL clubs, I reckon he's just taken the best offer, money wise. Not a signing I'd have been pleased with tbh.

we did make an offer apparently for Herbert but he wanted guaranteed starting rugby!
