He's by far and away the worst offender when it comes to self congratulatory talk in the media.



For me it just grates.

I don't see what he has said wrong - i like the bit where he says 'we are all looking forward to it and giving it to them' on Friday.

Well if he backs it up with action then I've no problem



But I've lost count of the number of times certain players start the media preening after a good result and then blow it in the next game.



Believe me I want him to be right, but just think it's premature to be bringing up talk of 'dark horses'.

the guy is being positive thats all, would you rather he be negative about are next games? i,d rather hear the players being confident than worried abat scum n wire games, where in good form so back them not barrack them get a life man.

It's not his fault. The players don't decide who will talk to the media or even what they will talk about. They sort of take turns, based on who's available and who the club and the media want. It's a way of giving the WEP something to write about. You can't read too much into any of it.

i like to see his confidence it means that the squad are confident and feel they have something special as long as that confidence doesnt turn to over confidence and not turning up come game time for example celtic i dont mind seeing players big our club up

You've forgot Fielden/Feka and Bailey.

What bothers me is that Hansen seems to have turned into the player a large number of people on hear target their critisism at and as usual people a picking at anything.



Would we prefer to hear nothing in the press from the players or what we hear without the positive spin?
