Now advancing in years, but with a proud pride of Wigan RLFC, I cannot get to many games.



My Dad has been supporting Wigan since the late 1920's. His father before him was a Leytham & Jenkins fan.



But one thing I do notice, apart from the results, is that there is something wrong with the greatest Rugby League team ever.



Wigan is still an 'hotbed' for the game. It would only take a complete idiot to not make Wigan RLFC a success.



Then we have this lot.



We are being laughed at by the rest.



There needs to be a change, and I am not sure that neither the coach NOR the Chairman, are good enough.

This morning it sure as hell feels like we are Superleagues laughing stock.

Have been for some time, every year it has been more like watching a soap opera instead of a sports team/club with all the shenangans going on.

Someone was going to be the first to lose in Wales , everyone else is just pleased it was not them.

Still revered throughout the game - that's why so many people enjoy having a pop. That's the price you pay for being at the top of the tree for so long. Despite your lean years i still regard your club as the biggest in the country. The first choice i always want to see out of the hat in a challenge cup draw next to Halifax is Wigan.

I think you've hit upon the problem yourself. It's the fact that you smugly and arrogantly keep on regarding yourselves as 'the greatest rugby league team ever'. It's an attitude that seems to permeate the Wigan club. Time moves on, but you lot don't. You're stuck in the past and getting left behind.
