Looking at our fixture list at the side of the forum page, have sky abandoned the idea of showing every game of every weekend.? We seem to have most game tagged as SL tv which is another pay to view channel.

No, i think it will be in the format it was at the end of the year. 2 games on the normal channel sky channels and the rest on the red button.

If you go on Sky sports fixture list they all show as being shown on Sky.

Yes it's a pain, I invested in Warrington TV so at least get to watch Warrington games if not shown on the main Sky channels.

Prior to Sky sports+ going live and the games were shown on the various sports channels I’d watch one and record the others. Streaming is not a new thing and by now we should be able to record streamed games or at very least get the full games on catch up.

Some of the sky games were bad to watch with the buffering . A sub standard service imo.

So if I want to watch all our games on the box am I right in thinking the main options are :-

1. Sky TV (either through Sky or NOW TV), Superleague Plus (through OurLeague?) and maybe the Beeb

or

2. Wire TV (a couple of days late)

or

3. A combination of 1 and 2.



Also is Wire TV always showing the matches 2 days after the live event?

And I notice on the RLONTV website there id a mention of Red Button (in conjunction with Sky Sports). What's that?

Wire tv shows games from the Monday after the weekend fixtures have finished. It is the sk/,BBC/SLTV programme without the frills ,no longer a bloke with his phone camera.

I guess Sky own the rights to the recording of all SL games.

Without their approval, it is likely standard to be 48hrs on full match replays, perhaps less on highlights.

That’s been my take on it for the period that I’ve been subscribing to wire tv and its poor predecessor.

Straight back to the Red button crap, Leigh vs Wigan and Cas vs Hull KR on normal Sky channels this week so the rest on Red button.

At least theres 2 NRL pre-season games on as well, i'll be watching more NRL this year. Dropped off the past 2 years so time for a re-fresh

Just checked and Sky aren't showing it unless again, it's bloody Red Button. Are Red button stuff available to watch at a later date or is it one shot and done?

Only saw one full game shown at a later date on catch up. Just hope at some point these streamed games can be recorded.

The full Whitehaven game is available on Wire tv.

Just saw the BBC are showing a game each week for the first 3 weeks, so at least 3 recordable games for the first 3 weeks at least.

Red button isn't the end of the world, but with Working, kids, busy schedules etc it traps you in to having to "Book" time and the TV to watch us. I know everybody is different but i rarely get the chance to watch a live game so miss mmost of ours if tgey aren't on normal Sky channels.

I can't really get to live games anymore with how busy i am, so i hope we're on often on normal channels

Maybe one day we maybe able to record streamed games, maybe not in my life time but can live in hope.

You shouldn't need to record them. They should be available on demand immediately just like all the NRL games are on my Watch NRL subscription. It's bonkers in 2025 that people are talking of recording...

Yes they do but last season I only saw one full game on there and it was not us. Not even that many highlights games. The catch up was just as bad.
