| Quote wire-quin="wire-quin"Both Pryce and McGuire are good against the lesser SL teams where there is space and time and tend to go missing in big games'"
I don't get this Pryce goes missing in big games bollox.
His record for Bradford and for Saints says this is not the case just have a look at his trophy collection.

| Quote Dunbar="Dunbar"This insight that Steve McNamara has into Leon Pryce led him to leave him out of his recent 37 man squad. Speaks for itself'"
Exactly, if that heavyweight of the coaching world, Steve McNamara, who managed to take a bradford team full of NRL experience and turn them into a team who would struggle to beat London Skolars, drops someone, you HAVE to take notice and not question him.

Based on Pryce's performance the last time he went down under, I would suggest that McNamara is overqualified to make this call
The point is Mcguire and Pryce are not bad players but if we take them down under we know we will get beat - they have been there before and not done that, why should they peform any better this time round? At least if we take players like Tomkins we have the possibility of hope

Remind me again who was at 6 when we last beat the aussies down under?
The rest of your point is stupid. Its like saying, lets drop the entire Leeds team because they played so poorly on saturday

Yes, my point concerning the performance of the England/GB team who haven't beaten Austrlalia in a meaningful game for over 30 years was exactly like comparing it to the current and three times Super League winners - I see the error of my ways now thanks

To put pryce at full back would be stupid as he never plays there and when he has before it aint worked.

Atkins
Hall
Tomkins

| Doubt Pryce will play again this year, so it's academic.
He is clearly one of England's most dangerous players though and should be in any England squad. A good coaching team can get the most out of difficult personalities - just dropping difficult players isn't always the answer.
