Very poor again tonight. Poor Discipline, Poor Defence. And we had no answers to Fev in the second half. Laughton is useless but that does not stop Fax playing simple basic rugby. We are uop 20-12 and then just threw the game away. Gannon and Penky was too busy playing silly buggers. MC has to really get hold of his lads and sort them out. Basic rugby- Run hard, Tackle hard. The Ref is the ref and you have to play him not against him. I did not feel Fax gave 100% in the second half and were too busy playing silly buggers. Oh well the only way is up!!

We looked ordinary. A tad unfit and pretty clueless. Not a good start at all this. Danny Jones isn't good enough. We miss Branno and Shad.

You struggle up the middle , Tonks And Dickens dominated you , who's bright idea was it to employ Gannon the penalty machine ?

Fax were shocking in the seccond half, You play a somewhat Dangerous and random game plan it seems. And when the ball does not go your way, you give up field poition to easily. When you needed to steady the ship and slow the game down you carried on with little chip kicks and throwing it about wildly, Playing exciting rugby is great, But you have to know when to calm it down.



Also, Worrincy was rubbish, Gannon was one of the worst players on the pitch, Always on the back foot and he lost his head. Ben Black went into hiding. Penky looked like he wanted it but you cant do it alone, Barlow would be a good player if he wasnt always trying to be the hard man. In all honesty, your pack might as well have stayed in the changing room after HT.



Dissapointing from fax tonight, I dont see you doing too much this season.

To be fair starry, even gannon must have been surprised to be penalised for asking why he's not allowed to get up and play the ball quick when ronnie was insisting fev did! We were bad but there was a spell in that second half when I thought ronnie was showing off jis new whistle.



And let's not start with the schoolboy linesman who overturned one of the few decisions ronnie got right - one that even the widnes boys agreed with!

Brannigan never replaced, Danny Jones is steady at best and does not offer a threat. If Black goes missing then there is not a great deal of attacking flair especially when penkywicz is not on the field. Still a long way to go but you are missing something

Lack of ideas and no fitness they was the team that played sunday but it looked the other way round. Not good enouth

And that is how to throw a rugby game away in 40 mins. Rhino roy has it bang on there, branighan just hasnt been replaced and we need another hard running forward.



I dont think its all doom and gloom though, saw enough in the first half to think we will be ok. Losing to fev isnt all that bad they are a very well drilled outfit. we will just win the grand final instead

Oh dear! Thought we played well in first half but ref kept them in the game. Second half we were pants regardless of Rockin' Ronnie's incompetance( hold major judgement 'til I've seen rerun of game). We looked like we didn't want it in second half, poor sets of six followed by a chip - what the hell is that about (Jones not good enough I think, did same against Batley instead of hoofing it down field).

If the ref is poor then keep yer gob shut and play him instead of feeding him.

Did notice that their props stood right in front of ref at play the ball so that he could n't see the messing about, and Ronnie not good enough to spot this.
