New memberships for 2011 can be taken now.

I am asking becuase i would have to rearrange plans to be there but would like to know what the Fax Trust do in the first instance to see if 1, It would be of any interest to me. 2, Would i bring anything to the table to help in any way.



I am not going to rearrange plans if its a waste of mine and indeed the trusts time.

How can the trust afford that?

I would like to thank all of you who turned up to the meeting on Wed evening and also to all the many people who have contacted me since with offers of help.

The Trust have offered to steer a fundraising initiative to help pay for the new under 23s squad which will cost £25,000 . It`s a massive amount and it cannot be done by the Trust on it`s own and we will be calling on all fans to help all they can,the new fund will be called FAXBUILDER.

Kickstarting this off there will be a quiz at the Ivy House Holmfield next Thur 21st Oct 7-30pm for 8-00pm there will be more info on the plans then.We intend to hold a big "pledge" night in around 4 weeks time where all information on how you can help the fund will be available and there will be various ways in which everyone can pledge to help.

Anyone who can offer to help in anyway for eg. organise or help at a fundraiser , have you an idea that could make some money for Faxbuilder.

Could you join the Supporters Trust or Steves Fantasy League ?

We are all aware times are hard for everyone at the moment but £25,000 does not seem so daunting if you work it out that if every Fax fan pledged to fetch an extra £1 to every Fax home game inc` cup and friendlies and had a go at the intended raffles or buy something from a stall we would have the money .

We intend to be holding auctions ,raffles and things like that if anyone can help there we would be very grateful, last season Leigh raised over £5,000 doing a sponsored walk would anyone care to take on that challenge?Or do you work somewhere where they could be persuaded to give something for an auction/raffle.

You will be hearing more after Monday and we hope all Fax fans will help with this challenge, I have enjoyed watching Fax to the Grand Final this year and I want to go again next and watch Fax win again.I also want our club to be the best in The Championship and if I can do that little bit extra I will and we hope many of you feel the same.

I know we have some of the best fans anywhere I am in awe of the many people who volunteer thier time and effort and their commitment is second to none and if anyone wants to pm me with any offers of help we would be very grateful but more news after Monday.If you can`t make the quiz see you at the pledge meeting.

What about encouraging people to join Club 1873?

All the money Neil raises through this matchday draw Club 1873 goes to the trust.

£25,000 is a lot of money, but not if you break it down in to managable chunks! some creative iniatives, some new sponswers, i Like it





Thats also a hell of a back up pool of players for the first team, when injuries strike and also a chance for the under23's to have a goal of first team rugby!
