| 10,500 or whatever the official attendance was supposed to be.
Brian Noble said “There were 10,500 people and probably 9,500 of those are new fans to the game.”
According to other forums Leeds supporters numbered only between 700-1000 of those 10,500 so I guess they were the 'old' fans he refers to.
Not that likely many old Celtic Crusaders supporters went up to Wrexham after the way they have been messed about.
So it seems there must have been many many thousands of 'new' people there on freebie tickets? I do know Wrexham FC season ticket holders were given some but surely not that many? Who was getting all the others?
Celtic Crusaders also tried this 'freebie ticket' idea for the last fixture against Leeds in Newport if comments on this board in the past are to be believed.

| From what i could see there was about 1,000 Leeds Supporters there and maybe the same again from other Super League clubs. I met quite a few that had made the Trip up from South wales but could not put a number on it there were also quite a lot with Welsh RU clothing and shirts on and from the Wrexham FC supporters i spoke to they said they were offered the chance of Half price tickets. I was in the Mold Rd stand and that is were i spoke to most of the supporters.

And your proof of such is where? You really are against the Crusaders no matter what they do aren't you? Just for your info. and read it slowly so that it sinks in to that thick skull of yours.
Wrexham season ticket holders were offered a reduction on tickets
There was an offer on for two Wrexham football games and the Leeds match for £35
School children were offered half price entry with a paying adult (following the community development guys taking the challenge cup around some of the local schools)
Now toddle off and start a fight with the other Hull over who's the best team or take a little time to think 'hmmmmm well done Crusaders in getting a full house for their first game'

Sorry.
'Well done Crusaders in getting a full house for their first game'
I just wonder what the crowd would have been like with out all the freebies/two for one/ kids half price/ buy one get one free/ etc etc
The result was pretty much how everyone thought it would go though wasn't it. Leeds won, Crusaders lost. Heavily.
Cant wait to see how many FC put past the crusaders when we come to town.

You are probably not aware but Wrexham RFC are a 'feeder' club for the Scarlets. In case you are as stupid in real life as you seem to be on this board, the Scarlets (formerly known as Llanelli Scarlets) are a Rugby Union side....from Llanelli ...in South Wales.
Wrexham RFC were invited along to last nights game as guests of the crusaders. Many of these complimentary tickets (Thats 'freebies' to you) were also offered to players and staff of the Scarlets.
I guess you will just have to trust me on this one.
But I'm sure you won't

That certainly isn't very many out of over 10,000.
Naturally club sponsors get free tickets and players get a few to give to their relatives etc etc
But that's not really what people generally mean by giving out freebies because all clubs do this.

| Just to make it that little bit easier as you are clearly struggling please provide proof of your comment in particular:
I just wonder what the crowd would have been like with out all the freebies/two for one/ kids half price/ buy one get one free/ etc etc
All you are doing at the moment is giving more evidence of what a prize clown you are. BTW I live closer to Parc Y Scarlets than I do to Wrexham so try not to give me lessons in all things Welsh.....Twpsyn!

Those are just the ones we know about Hedgehog.
My question is how many other freebies were given out?
I suggest there were probably quite a few.
It's not a real criticism of the club...they have to try and drum up interest in the sport in North Wales.
But at least be honest about the amount of folks who actually paid full price and went along
