Saddleworth couldn't raise a team to day, so we have gone three weeks with no game and have to play Spring View over the Magic Weekend - madness!





To say our season has fizzled to an end would be a major over-statement!

SV 38 - 18 Heysham



One of the toughest games I have playd in this season....just because of the size of the pack we had to handle today.



However good disciplined rugby won the day, and some down right nasty defence, a massive win for us men.



Well done Heysham for making the journey down and making it a top game.

Hindpool 10-34 Dalton



Both sides fielded weakened sides. Typical end of season game with nothing at stake but errors and a slow start cost us 'AGAIN'. 22 nil down after 20 mins again, we really need to be on our game from the kick off. I reckon if we took the first 20 mins out of every game this season then we would be mid table but this has been an issue for a few seasons now. Only 1 more defeat/game to go then we can have a well earned rest. On the plus side, the bubble could have burst at the pie dome and Saints done a job over Leeds, weekends not been a total loss.

spring view vs woolston. crucial game for woolston as they will want to finish on same points as us.

3 weeks without a game is along time especially when your travelling to the view, but it means you should have a fully fit squad, on the other hand cowies has said that they had a tough game against a very physical heysham defence, so could be carrying some knocks and thats the reason am saying woolston will win by 2,

We were a little on the short side yesterday and had 3 u'18's involved, one lad making his debut, and another getting on the scoresheet.



As far as I am aware we came away from yesterdays game unscathed.....or at least nothing a week won't shift!





I do feel like I've done 12 with Tyson this morning though!

3 lads back this saturday, who were all away at weekend, so the gaffers got a tough call weather to drop the young lads who have all been playing well , or leave them in, its a nothing game and we got shevy in the cup about 3 days later

A nothing game you say bloody hell, i go for woolston by 20 because am sure they wont see it as a nothing game

SV 42 - 28 Woolston.



Good game, Woolston dominated early with some very good back line shots, and poor discipline from us.



2nd half saw us put on a 90%+ completion rate and dominate the ruck.



Fair result in the end in my opinion.





May I just add chaps, to those who give there time to comment on NWC Div 3....I have thougherly enjoyed the banter on here over the last few months, and even more importantly squaring up against you men on a saturday afternoon

great result for SV i have also enjoyed the banter this term but look forward to possibly a div2/div3 thread to keep it going next season, thats if the NWC dont decide to put 4 up again.
