1978-79 - We were won Division 2, Rovers won Division 1 (although we had a bigger average attendance)
1980-81 - Rovers finished a few places and 4 points higher than us
1983-84 and 1984-85 - Rovers were Champions.
Last two seasons.
We've been top dog in tweny-odd out of 31 seasons. Not a bad record at all.'"

On a serious note you admit to always struggling attendance wise even as the then RL Div 1 Champions however the key to your financial security seems to be built around a 'build it and they will come' philosophy ie extend the stadium and average over 10k consistently.
Is this realistic? Are there fans waiting to make an appearance at Craven park? |
