A better standard of rugby even if we are to get beat

Mainly the big game atmosphere. Thats the one thing you miss in the championship. While i love Visiting Batley, Sheffield, Skolars and Dewsbury, The lack of any real meaningfull atmosphere at home games ( with the possible exception of Leigh ) means that it will be nice to get back into a league with a bit of noise at the games. Pretty much all i do right now is look out for the Leigh games and look forward to them through the season for the added spice that away supporters bring. When we are in SL that will happen almost every week.



I also look forward to seeing our new squad as it takes shape.

i was thinking more about those ones who were on the cover of rugby league world a month or two ago. meeeeow.

They were the wigan cheerleaders pal. I'm mates with a couple of them lot.

the red head is particularly pleasing.

being more serious, im looking forward to being at more televised games so i dont have to listen to stevo suggest 'something different like a chip over the top' as often.

also the derbies. Leigh are a fine club, but its not really the same. warrington and saints are what i look forward to.

Don't rub it in mate

, your gaining some good derbies, we are losing our only one. Unless Swinton or Oldham have a good year AND sort out their stadium situations we will be playing in the bloody Yorkshire League next year! Especially if Wakey come down as expected

Things you lot should realistically be looking forward to :



- The Wooden Spoon.

- Filling your overseas quota with OAP Aussies looking for a desperate club to sign them to top up their pensions.

- Signing most of Wakefields very average squad when they lose their license.

- Losing most of your games.

- Drawing a Championship side in the CC that have a decent standard of rugby ie, Halifax or Leigh, and getting beat.

Im certainly looking forward to the delights wigan has to offer
