Its gonna be a right mess by the end of this game with the rain that's now falling

Horrendous and the club should put a complaint in to the council. We have re-arranged several home games for this to get sorted and for the money we pay as tenants should be getting far better than that.



in general the maintenance of the KC seems to have gone completely down the pan, if you look closely the stadium is really looking its age with peeling paint, dirty seating area, flickering big screens (one of which was actually showing City adverts in error before kickoff!)



the speakers in the East stand have been inaudible for years, but despite cash being spent on new screens and 'Tiger/Tigeress' signs for the bogs are never fixed.



Sad to see the ground being allowed to look so shabby, but no doubt its all part of the 'I can't make money from the SMC' claim Allam is making, when even dodgy Paul Duffen and co managed to at least breakeven running it.

Rain coming through the roof in a couple of places too.

James smales put on twitter that the club were always aware the pitch wasn't going to be ready for this game but were unable to rearrange. But did look shocking. But the astro turf round the edges looked good maybe they should put that all over!

Forget the surface, that will heal..



The disgrace is the shortening of the pitch and the narrowing. Its a joke and whoever ok'd that should be hung, i bet the club was not consulted at all about the removal of 8 meters in length (it let us down on 2 kicks specifically tonight)



Maybe the clubs mouth piece FCVoices can ask the club why the pitch is now sub standard, and shorter than the standard length of pitch

i'm no expert on the matter of pitch sizes, but I didn't think the pitch looked any smaller? just that they've replaced the grass run off areas with astroturf as those areas of the pitch always end up threadbare anyway.

The gap between deadball line and the ad boards has grown (the posts are in a different place! (sight lines, before you comment, you know like kickers use)), and look at the gap between the 30 and the 40 compared to the 20 and the 30. (the 30 to 40 looked 70 to 80% shorter than the 20 to 30)
