I cant see the figures being that high. Morgans is probably the closest at a guess but if Agar is on 120k a year then you guys really should have a genuine gripe.

I'd have thought he was on nearer to the 90k mark that i said.
Putting the coaches and their individual packages to one side i still think coaches in SL will be earning more than a lot of people expect. There's a lot of cash in the modern sport for the right people and top class coaches are hard to come by. There's also the payment that they will receive additional to cash. Wouldn't surprise me in all honesty if Smith was getting nearer to 500k.

| back to the squad we are going to need big changes again but surley the board will bring in a new top coach thats the first priority but a new fullback is needed phelps isnt good enough i know its early ect but for a quota player we need better, will sharp im undecided as hes young with potential and from what ive seen of him hes seems 1 of thoses who can be a match winner but defensivly isnt great and could we potentially get better. a centre is needed whiting is a great squad player but we need to be ambitious and go and get an attacking centre, tbh we have options that can cover and play at 6 and hopefully rich can keep in good shape but needs be signed on a vastly reduced wage. now the obvious one is we need a scrum half with out doubt, as for props hopefully moa and omeley are signed up along with fitzy on a reduced wage and radders and ticks also playing prop, backrow and hooker we are sorted

| Quote Big Dave T="Big Dave T"Depends if he's ready for regular game time. He might be better as the 6th prop for 2012 and get some games and then to become one of the 5 in 2013 when Ogre and Radders go. It would be a big ask for someone to be the 5th prop when they've not made their debut yet. The injuries we get to props the 5th prop will need to play at least 10-15 games.'"
Yeah but its about priorities, you can't have everything.
If we lost Phelps, Horne, Long, Lauaki, Fitz and then brought in 5 players we would need 2 halves, a centre (Whiting to FB) a prop and a backrower.
That to me would make sense, hard to put any names in but something like this:-
Whiting
Sharp
New centre
Yeaman
Briscoe
New half
New half
Ogre
Houghton
Radford
Manu
Tickle
Westerman
Moa
New prop
New backrower
Obst
Saints, Wigan, Leeds and Wire have used young props in recent seasons and they have done okay.

for me phelps, sharp, long, washy and lauaki can go for me and undecided on fitz he may well call time on his carrer anyway but hes a great pro and i have no doubts that next season he would be able to do 80 mins every game like he does but could we get someone younger and just as good that depends on how abitious this club is and i woundt be suprised to see him and long sign up.

| Minichiello is 31 this year and has a option with the Roosters for 2012.

i know hes 31 but from what ive seen of him this season he seems to have refreshed his carrer and with his experience and quality i take him and yeh he may have an option with the roosters but a new challenge in enland he may want lets face it he isnt the only aussie that has come over.

| Times are changing though, Minichiello is involved in the media and with current exchange rates and the tax rule to get him we'd have to offer a long contract, like Salford with Patten.
Now that could be good for 2012 but in 2013/14 we've got another older player on big money how's struggling to get on the park.
