Is the bigger issue here not more about how we use this extra pivot rather than who actually is listed as FB. We can't seem to get our FB in the game, in the attacking sense that other clubs do. Tomkins and Brett Hodgson are the obvious ones but for all Eden's faults he gets plenty of trys and chimes in all the time, Grix at Hudds is very pivotal, the young kid at Catalans etc.



McDonnell appears to be very handy on his feet, has good balance and isn't slow so why aren't we utilising him more?
