I can think of three errors in the first half. The one you mentioned and twice when he couldn't take in short passes from Manu.

On that occasion I think he was guilty of playing the ball too quickly without checking if anyone was in position. He must've known that, after a long kick, there were only two back, plus himself. One (Briscoe) was covering the opposite touchline. The other (Hall) had just wrapped around and given Calderwood the ball inside. As a result, there was very little chance of anyone getting to the PTB in time and, in rushing to do so, Hall came up with the error.

Cant believe he is still getting blamed for us playing poorly. What a joke!

If we follow the same logic we can expect Lewis Hamilton to be up before the beak for stealing a Brawn car, it's the only way he'll win a race in the foreseeable future.



You cannot blame Claderwood, can anyone identify a singe occasion where he failed to capitalise on an overlap etc.



Now, can anyone identify a useless short half-back cum Fullback that kicked on tackle 2 of a repeat set?

Probably as much as Fox, who is apparently inferior.

He will probably have 1 or 2 decent games in a season. He did it last year.

The first Salford try, Briscoe should have done a lot better clearing up the kick and if it was Calderwood he would have lamented for poor positioning and for not diving in.
