Isn't Noble a coach who would demand the cash is thrown around. Look at his track record. Nearly bankrupted Bradford with the Harris affair. Signed Fielden for Wigan and in all rights they should have been thrown out for that and the year he was at Crusaders they went bang.
Looking at your clubs financial governance do you think he fits the profile?

| If nothing else this thread shows the following,
A) some people who claim to be knowledgeable about rugby can make themselves look stupid.
B) if Agar ever goes you would have to be an absolute idiot to take the job as you ain't going to please everyone even before you have a team on the park.
I ask this in all seriousness. Do people sit at their computers in Hull with cans of Special Brew on hand rendering them idiotic before they type?
The idea that Edwards would even consider coaching us is beyond silly. The idea that he is an unproven coach is frankly laughable. He is a leader of men and one who has innovative ideas which have worked within a sport that he hardly knew before starting. I am no Lawrence Dallaigo fan or RU fan for that matter but he holds Edwards in the highest of regards having considered him an outsider from League when he joined Wasps.
Equally anyone who thinks Noble is not good enough is not worth discussing. He is simply the best British coach around and he is available apparently. The question might be asked if he actually wants to do it again.
So those two are not good enough clearly but we will go for an untried Aussie assistant on the basis that Brown has apparently done a good job at the Giants without actually winning anything let alone got anywhere near a grand final. Oh and McGuire simply tweaked the 3rd best team in the comp (elimination final in 09) that was developed by Noble.
Still what do I know I'm not from Hull and have lived in the London area for 20 yrs.

That's because they over spent, we are able to spend the cap.

So were Wigan and Bradford. Theres the cap and then there's the cap... My point being that I think Noble would want full control of the purse strings and I'm not sure your board would want that.

Of the £1.65 million he should have, if there's any money for transfer fees the board will let him know.
The Bradford and Wigan examples were only allowed to happen because the board let it.

Thanks for that sanctamonious claptrap, Noble nearly bankrupt the Bulls, and the Wigan success was down to McGuire. He did a good job at Crusaders I agree.
I don't want him at FC, he is not what we need to move forward, if Noble were the top coach that some claim he'd be coaching, not poncing around with Mickey Rourke.

it's opinion at the end of the day, and my opinion is that I don't want him at FC.
