Not particularly defending Hall here but the reason they had so much field position was no one in the defensive line (which excludes Hall) could be d/bothered/give a tuppeny to move off said line and aggressively tackle their opposition.

calders nearly cost us another try when he thought the ball was going to go into touch and the salford winger over run it and calders mopped up that was sooo lucky it was untrue!! he had a shocker for me he got the ball from a salford kick and ran it in very hard and fast until he reached the salford defender then just stopped to a halt and fell to the floor!!

Yes but he didnt did he.....how about our other winger costing us a try.......nobody has mentioned that.

Total . The kick, a very good one and far better than anything we produced, stopped just before the touchline. Calderwood dealt with it perfectly and avoided being slammed into touch which was no mean feat. Had it been Briscoe would you be saying the same ? No thought not.

Completely agreed....he gave it every chance to reach touch, and made the decision to collect at exactly the right time.

I read your post on it.........dont get me wrong,Briscoe is going to be very good but he is making mistakes and costing us trys...but nobody will hear a bad word against him.
