Not sure why he is being gotten at to be honest, yeah he kicked when all on, but he didn't do that much wrong for me. I think next season will bring him on, but it'll be 2 seasons time when we will see the realy benefit IMO. In him and Briscoe, I think we have an outstanding future in the backs.

He did some good things and of course made a few wrong calls but at 17 in that environment it is understandable. I have more of an issue with our so called big game players who have been there and done it on the RL scene because their leadership and drive was AWOL last night.

| Similar comments were made about Briscoe until he developed into the wing role. Leaving the ground last night I said to my friend "Give him another year and he'll be another Tom".

| He's as raw as hell and there are many facets of his game that require serious attention but as said above he may well have the character to succeed he was still putting the effort in right at the end of the match. Would have liked him to back his pace a bit more in the first half when cutting inside and his worst error for me was being out of position when Fitz and Berro had carved a try for him on a plate but he wouldn't have been playing except for injuries and has a lot of opportunity ahead of him to shine if he works at it.

| Quote Bighead="Bighead"its been clear since his debut that he probably wont ever really make it. he can be as fast over 100metres running into fresh air as he wants, but he hasnt got the coordination or the bottle to be a top sportsman. they are things you develop as a young child and unfortunately for them his arent up to it, just a far smaller version of karl pryce'"
what a load of rubbish, he hasnt got the bottle!!! the kid got smashed a few times but jumped up and played the ball each time, he didnt go missing at all. fair enough he made a couple of errors with the ball but hes 17, hell learn and i think he will do really well for you guys in the future.

| With the exception of when he kicked when the tackle count had been wiped I thought he did as well as you could expect a lightweight 17 year old to do! We didn't lose this game because of him, we lost because our much vaunted pack was outmuscled, our marquee 7 was outplayed by their's and their coach produced a gameplan to nullify us.
Get off Lynne's back!

You should've been around when he used to educate us all on just how crap Nathan Blacklock and Stephen Kearney were for us.

| Brought up in Hull and all the media hype, at 17 he was going to be extra nervous but apart from the kick no real errors. The grapevine suggests that the flair & risk taking rapidly vanishes from young players games as they become so scared of making a mistake, no wonder witl some of the rubbish written on here.

| What else has the kid got to do? He's been thrown to the Lions over the last couple of weeks because of nessecity and done a real good job.
I just hope the experience against the dobbins has'nt knocked his confidence and he can take heart out of his overall efforts. So should we, we got another gem on our hands here.

| i thought he played well. Showed good strenth and speed at times, committed despite big gang tackles on him nearly every time.
People have said about him not being outside Berro in the second half, however, he had taken the first scoot of the set on the other side of the field and had only just got back to that side. He is 17, he will learn that he needs to get to his postion quicker after taking the ball in

| Remains a prospect.
Not ready for recent exposure, hope his confidence wasn't shatterred.
He was poor & that's being polite. Cost us the game at Salford when Jodie Broughton owned him & forced a rapid substitution. Suspect same would have happened yestertday but for lack of backs.
Did you see the look Berro gave him when he blew a real good chance by not paying attention. Natural finisher would have been on his shoulder at full tilt screaming for the pass.
Needs to gain a stone & a couple of seasons under 20's/championship before ready for sustained SL.
Sad but true. Fingers genuinely crossed for him but let's face it very few of our 'prospects' really make the grade.

forced sub?? it was because of the injury to his tackle rather than performance based
