Think we might lose track of how many high balls will be heading our fullbacks way tonight.

How about Hall fielding the first one with ease and returning it well into Wire's half for good measure.



Hall to have a stormer tonight and make Wire wish they'd thought of a different game plan.

My guess is that Wire will want to throw it around and Hull will play the grinding, more patient game up the middle. Hull after all are missing Tansey, Calderwood, Horne, and Long so they don't have much choice. I would imagine TS won't want his pack to get too embroiled with the Hull pack because it will take it out of them for next week but you really need to create some sort of platform for Briers to work his magic from.



As a Hull fan, I worry that we have been a little easy to go around on the outside throughout the season and Wire are great exponents of the expansive game. You never know though, we are 4th and that's not by accident which means we have managed to find a way of winning without Long and Horne this year and with a slightly more depleted squad (some might say) we didn't fare that badly against Warrington at the KC.

With a few players in dispute Dowes and Radford , its hardly a good time to be playing anyone let alone the Wire. The team spirit will have a lot to play in this and I think the tank is getting a little low at the moment. We need out big boys to smash seven bells out of the Wire for a the first ten or so and plant injury visions in there minds. I know that sounds a bit harsh , the game is rugby league not tiddly winks and if a bit of hard rugby puts a team heading to Wembley off then so be it.

Pretty much how I see it. How we handle their first bomb may well set the tone for the game..

on another thread earlier in the week someone said ( cant remember who) hulls pack should start the game with big hits to unsettle wires pack, i think this would be a clever tactic to use with wire in the final next week, its human nature to sub consously become over protective of yourself thus dropping your own intesity levels, however i cant see us getting anything tonight but, it would be interesting to see how wires react to such a tactic.

I predict I will be hammered by half time, to help!!
