Dont really understand the negativity?? Im happy with that signing...very good addition in my opinion!

He is but we still have room on the non fed quota but not on the overseas quota.

So getting rid of dykes/byrne would make more sense

Very astute signing, if we can get him back in a pivotal position then we could have a gem of a player in the side. Good all round kicking game, looking for a fresh start and willing to impress I'd imagine.

Agreed. If we don't retain Webster than we have a Non-Fed place available. Wiki for a season would do us just fine.

A good signing rather than a showstopper.



Thorman is a good half back (very good on his day) with a decent kicking game and will provide much needed cover at 6 and 7. The one year deal is spot on too.

Hope not, Tony has his critics but he is a superior FB to Thorman.

Think he is a good signing personally, got a good kicking game and a bit of versatility. Lets give him a chance.

Thorman is as much a Scrum Half as Richard Horne. So what do we go do, sign our Stand Off on a two year deal then go sign another Stand Off on a one year deal.

I don't think we do if we sign Webster. AFAIK we have one spot left so if we sign Webster then we've no spots left whereas if we don't we've got a non-fed place spare.

We have Dykes, Byrne, Cusack, Berrigan and Crocker on the quota plus Manu and Tony on the non-fed thus leaving a single spare non-fed spot.



Where is Sheldon he seems to be on top of all this.
