I don't usually subscribe to conspiracy theories but if anyone thinks that Hudgell's spat with the council is not in some way connected to Allam's attacks on FC and the City Council, then they are deluding themselves.



Hudgell may come across as a passionate owner/chairman of our rivals and in many ways he is but I'm not convinced that his latest "dummy-spit" hasn't been carefully orchestrated.

Agree with this and the thought did cross my mind, why now? After everything that has just gone on regarding FC and the Allams the council now get dragged into more controversy. With all the cuts taking place in council services this has to be the last thing they need.

Any hull council tax payer needs to push this issue with their local councillor. What is this alleged £300k subsidy we receive and if it doesn't exist he should be made to retract his statement.



I'm amazed that public funding has been spent on a sports stadium to benefit private owners of a 3rd rate rugby club when public spending is being cut left, right and centre. It's a disgrace and should be exposed

I made that FOI request two seasons ago, and it was rejected on "personal confidentiality grounds", I may well have to dig the original emails out and see if the recent developments have changed their stance.

Whilst he is a vice president of Hull City and in Allams pocket then confidential pillow talk with regards to our arrangement with the SMC will be disscussed. The council won`t be rollered by this weasel, they are going to fight him tooth and nail over this. Why have we not heard from the CEO of the dobbins? He seems to dissapear when any controversy abounds! When you read both statements you can see (a) the bitterness from the weasel and (B) the councils resolve to not take the blame for the dobbins failures not only in the Stand fiasco but in their own financial downfall.

My mate who works at a stadium seat making co just text me to say they have got an order for 1300 black and 1300 white seats in to be delivered to Hull in a couple of months.
