Although he has lost some pace over the years, he's still reasonably rapid. Today he looked like he was running through treacle.





He was poor today. He was, however, injured. Not a complete excuse by any means, and he certainly has weaknesses in his game, but calling for his release off the back of games played while not fit seems harsh.

Horne has never been able to hack it in that role, even at his best. For that reason he is a long way from being the answer to our current crisis. My point was that we are a poles apart in terms of off field structure compare to teams like Harlequins, Salford and Crusaders but regularly outplayed by them.
