A friend who once worked at the stadium, told me that he noticed a barrel rigged up which was 5 months out of date!  
Never bought alcohol since at the KC. |

And every week before the match they're still training the brand-new staff before you get served. Last week my pal asked for a napkin. The young lad serving (not a local lad) said "yes sir. What flavour?"'"

Was actually going to suggest New Clarence to be honest!  Great pub IMO, awesome night in there for live games, and their 'radio' coverage for Cats v Rovers/Hull games is outstanding. 
Mill down Holderness Road is meant to be decent (only been in once or twice though), + Crooked Billet is spot-on.
However, if you fancy a change I recommend Haworth down Cott Rd. Plenty of TV's, cheap beer + good/friendly atmosphere - be hard to beat. |
