Think he scored a try against Halifax once at the Boulevard that got me a bit excited.

didnt he score the winner vs fax when we was dead and buried at ht...think horne put the kick through from a scrum base and hallas sailed over!!!!!

I think you will have more positive responses on the Rovers board his best days were with them. Didnt he score a wonder try against the Aussies ?

think Hallas always got a hard time from the FC fans as I remember that try crowned a comeback equal to the 1 in the recent Sts game.



Never a great favourite of many but i dont remember him ever letting us down. Wasnt he cheered when he missed a goal which would have given him a record in a match.



We are as people say fickle fans

That's the one I was refering to earlier in the thread, one of the great Boulevard moments for those of us that didn't leave at half time.

Remember us losing a very close game at the Stoop and he missed all the kicks. That's it.

Rememeber him playing centre when we was at the Boulevard. Nothing stands out though

Hallas was great for us in turning us from a Div 1 club into a SL one. Ok he wasn't no world beater but he had a nack of scoring at the right time.



Best memories of Hallas, when he scored that try against Halifax (which to me was better then the Saints comeback, when you consider what was on the line that season) and that interception try he scored against Leeds to end there unbeaten start to the season. Threepenney went barmy when he did that.
