from what i've been hearing Rovers cited a club for an illegal approach to Crooks before allowing him to leave. Could be an interesting twist to this one !

I thought a contract was legal and binding for players and staff alike. I maybe wrong but i'm sure we have some legal boffins who can elaborate on this. |

It is, but there is nobody to "cite" FC to about this, all they could do is undertake a private claim. |

HULL legend Lee Crooks has joined Super League rivals Hull KR as assistant coach. The former Great Britain forward, 44, agreed a three-year deal to work with boss Justin Morgan at Craven Park. Hull-born Crooks — who also played for Castleford and Leeds — has spent the last six years working for the RFL on coaching and talent identification. He will also coach Hull KR’s academy squad.
Aussie Morgan said: “Lee is a coach with vast amounts of experience and is a welcome addition to the team for next season.”
