Agreed.
The only thing to add is that the players have to take some responsibility for performing below the level they as individuals are capable of. Look at Calderwood. Gash under international and "most-successful-coach-in the-SL-era", a revelation under Agar. Don't know whether Agar has anything to do with it, but it looks more to me like Calderwood has taken it upon himself to give 100% every game and delivers every week. Can't deny that if everyone did the same we'd have won more games than we have done this year, regardless of the coach. |

That's a valid point Mrs B. Even though I don't think Agar is up to it, It's not all down to him. The players have to cop some of it!!! |

Without a doubt it cut's both way's
but the coach seems to have given up and is just looking at next season , saying it's not my squad etc wait till i'll get my own
Instead of looking at it and saying im going to spped the ptb up and get everything out of this squad i have here, afterall i though thats what he gets paid for |

In my opinion any S.L. coach could get results at Saints, they play a fast and attractive brand of rugby. The difficulty for lesser coaches would be man management skills and day to day problems which appear at all clubs through out a season.

Then none of you saw York play when Agar was a rookie coach.They were a very entertaining team to watch and won the league.It may not be superleague but he has imo got the potential to be a top coach.I say give the guy a chance,let him get rid of the deadwood and let him get his own players in and then judge him.
