I know you have a bit of man love for Cooke, but this is going some all the same. He's finished. Done. Fat, slow, and devoid of clue. He's also a hugely disruptive influence and a nightmare with his off-field antics. He would be the worst signing in the club's history - and he'd be up against some pretty stiff competition.

Oh god yes, I was suffering a little this morn but its nearly time to get my a** off the couch, grab a shower and take the little lady for a meal before I once again find myself in pub with the lads and watching some more rugby lol



I really would have hated to have lost yesterdays game but win or lose for me it was a fabulous occasion. I enjoyed all the banter, met some very gracious in defeat FC fans, I never saw a single hint of any trouble and of course we came away victorious.

I would have him back tomorrow some player's and clubs just seem to click, it's not about what he does on his own it's more his combinations with Horne, Yeaman & Radders all of which looked better players for us when he was in the team.



As good as Long has been at Saints has he been any better for us than Cooke would have been ?

Cooke's finished. It would be a disaster signing.

If you was to resigen to leavn Paul Cooke,would James Rule have to leave your club as didn't he say he would never be at Hull whilst he was there.

Yea,lets bring back Thorman too whilst we are at it.

Still has the intelligence and ability to play at least another season. You can't compare Cooke and Long currently, Cooke's finished Long isn't IMO.



I'm not sayin Long has enough to play every game which is why we need decent back up, rotation would be a good thing.
