Dobsons a good player and would of improved us simply by offering stability and a great kicking game. We didnt sign him because he needed a contract from the season he came or his visa would of expired and we could only offer one from the season after due to visa restirctions. Nothing more to it than that.

So what if Dobson never quite hit the standard needed over in the NRL, he has been more than decent at Catalan, Wigan and now us.

We signed Berro, a SOO and Test player, you signed Dobbo, an non-fancied 7 with no honours. Dobbo's been a SL smash and Berro has dissapointed.



So I'm with you - what went before is irrelevant if they do a job here.



Thankfully Fitz and Ogre packed their international class and brought it with them when they came.

The visa issue is a fact, believing that Matty Head or anyone else for that matter had anything to do with it is pure speculation.

Now if you'd like to explain to me how we could of fitted Dobson on our quota in 2008 I'd be happy to listen.

I think Dobson is a cracking little player and the reason he never got much of a chance in the NRL was because of his age in a team with 2 seasoned NRL pros ahead of him in the pecking order.He decided to take a gamble of returning to the UK rather than waiting for his chance.His gamble has paid off and no doubt in the future he would walk stright into most NRL teams.

Easily enough, we all know which one would have made way and was very willing too at the time.



But it never happened and everyone is happy with how things turned out
