Don't see the problem in admitting its the game we all want to win, I know agar and the players will say its just amother two points but in any sports you want win your derbies

Derby's always have and always will hold that extra meaning, not only for fans but also for the players...

The answer to that question is all around you methinks

. Yes it is only another two points like any other game but no it is not "just another game". I don't claim that caring about the derby result makes me a better person than those who don't but I don't think it makes me any worse. And I reckon there are thousands of fans from both sides of the river who feeel the same way.



I also think it matters to both sets of players (so much so that after we beat them at thier place earlier in the season, our team looked weary in the next few games) and the directors.

It is nice to win a derby of course it is but it is just two games in a long season not a cup final like Rovers fans think, there season depends on beating us.

Agree O'Meley is a massive loss along side Longy , but this is now the time for the likes of Tickle , Manu , Fitzy and Horne to lead like we know they can !!! COME ON U ULLLL!!!!

The Hull derby is a massive game for many people in Hull and long may it continue. The biggest two games of the year to supporters in the city and the only true derby in SL. Of course it means more to the vast majority of fans than say Salford at home.



O'Meley is a big loss but calf injuries are delicate and he has to be right.

As we're nearly there, the play offs, but beating the unwashed is always good.

At the end of the day you get the same 2 points for beating Rovers as you get for beating anyone else. If we lose, we lose, but hopefully we'll have our injured players back for the business end of the season. We might yet end up playing Rovers in the play-offs. That is when we'll need the likes of O'Meley and Long.
