We need at least one outside back. Looking at that list with Ellis at prop, I can see why we'd be looking at back rowers - lots of numbers but maybe lacking in quality. Azza will be a miss too IMO, been a really useful squad player.

Abdull could always play 13 so can help the back row out as can Sa.



The name I've heard for an outside back is Champion but not heard anymore on that in a while so could be something of a non starter. I don't believe Crooks will go, think he has being taken out of the firing line and having a bit of bring back down to earth season.

It's a bit disjointed.Why have Lancaster ahead of Talona,I doubt if Logan will feature nxt season as needs to bulk up,same goes for Fash.We need another outside back or use Rankin in the centres,I think Crooks will stay as well.Abdull,for me is a 13 and like P marrow says could easily play there.Its not a bad squad actually and stacks up well against the top 6 teams,il leave Widnes and Catalan out as how they are above us is baffling

Champion has just signed an NRL deal, not to say we weren't after him at one point. Heard Crooks to Wire on Twitter.

I put Talanoa as utility as I think he can cover centre, but agree he'd be picked over Lancaster on the wing as it stands.



I also agree it's not a bad squad if we can sort out some basic support play and speed up the PTB. Not sure that the Houghton/Cunningham combo is as strong as Houghton/Azza, not seen much of Cunningham.

If rumours true about Lancaster then not fussed about him either way.Agree about Cunningham,seen him at U-19 level and I wasn't impressed and couldn't see why we let London have him,he played all over the place.

Their owner is worth £60m so probably not too much of an issue.

Oh I know,be interesting to see what happens.

I see the squad shaped a bit different. I'm only including the academy kids with a chance of 1st grade too.
