Don't see the point in bringing Horne in , seasons done, ain't Miller and ranking got another years contract, may as well give them a season together, young lads, first proper year in sl, can only get better! Until we get a new coach, we will always be clueless anyway, I'm sensing a couple more decades of false hope

I'm also still in the keep Rankin and Miller together camp. The area where I think Radford got it wrong was in the three quarters. I just don't really get why he has made those choices. It's not even as though he is going for the safe option. I can understand him not wanting to start Sa, but surely he's here as a centre? Why not take Colbon off, put Talanoa on the wing and Sa at centre? If Crooks is struggling with injury then that's fair enough, but if he's fit he has to play, at the moment his defensive frailties (which aren't as bad as some make out btw) aren't as important as his attack. I didn't go last night so can't really comment, but if last week is anything to go by we got plenty of decent ball to the backs but they aren't good enough to do anything with it. At least with Crooks there you've got someone who can beat his man for pace and get the ball free.



I've been quite clear in recent weeks that I don't think Radford is the man for the job. I still don't, but as long as we are getting some commitment and look like we are making small steps in the right direction then I am willing to be patient. It would seem last night was (just about) a tick in each of those boxes, but he needs to be more positive in the way he sets us up, because you won't beat Leeds with Yeaman and Talanoa at centre.
