Guys you are being a tad harsh IMO (albeit based on one game) - I thought your make-shift team did try and the effort was there no doubt.

No, simple answer, the bloke is clueless. We had you over a barrel at 12-0 and any decent team would have kicked on, but we as we always do decided to defend a lead rather than extend on it.

I agree...once we had the lead other teams kick on and capitalise on that...not us...we just collapse..

Thank you Wirefan for a sensible post. What is so bad about what is by any standards a seriously weakened side trying its best but eventually succumbing to a team with much less injuries and more quality. And why is to so wrong for Agar to point this out?

I'll just say what I said after the Wakey defeat (or was it the Salford one, I forget) Agar is a decent bloke but out of his depth as a SL head coach. It was a ridiculously rushed appointment that has come home to roost.

EXACTLY!!!!!!! Even when we won early in the season we took alead and defended it. Saints/Leeds take a lead and look to increase it we play boring percentage rugby and hope we get something out of it.

Yes you went 12-0 up but lets be honest we were completely dire in that first half and your game plan was to keep us pinned in our half with good defence and an excellent kicking game - and boy it worked. Our first try was well executed but in reality, we offered little in response due to your dogged defence and constant touch finders holding us in our half.



It was only in the second 40 that our pack woke up. Our front row was our best available and our interchange was very strong. We had no injurys and we simply tightened our game plan in the second half and used our more experienced bigger pack in order to dominate the second 40.



There was little you could do in response with a young and leader lacking side. Chris Thorman made our job easier with poor kick options, but other than that, without your skillfull and stronger, experienced players it was always going to be tough for you.

Its not the clubs fault that Crocker's Visa was refused twice. Clearly while this was being sorted you could hardly have recruited anyone else in the meantime, so I think he can be included. Had he not been signed, he would have been replaced with someone of equally good quality (salary cap space).



Its not Agar's fault as his hands are tied on that one.
