in my opinion that it is the players (well certain ones) that are to blame for our poor performances . Last week we showed comitment , and the ability to throw the ball about and showed interest .



tonight we looked awful and any desire to win the game seemed to , at least in the second half to be non existent .



we have shown we can do it , but only in games the playes can lift themselves for , derbys are easy to lift for , but i always said it would be this week that showed if we have turned a corner . we havent cause the same lack of passion showed through tonight .



the Anti Agar crew should take a look at the past 3 years , we blamed kear , we blamed sharpe , now we blame agar , whats the one thing that has remained constant (ish) ? the playing staff

I thought the players showed passion and enthusiasm in the first 30 mins. But at the end of the day, they were clueless in attack as usual. Who sorts out the attack? The coach.



It's the coaches job to get the players to play to the game plan. To get them motivated for all games. To select the team and drop the players that aren't good enough.



He doesn't have control of the squad or the respect to make a difference it seems. He's had enough time to show things. At the end of the day, the players we have may not be the best, but they are WAY better than 11th in the table and 4 wins in 18.

Warrington had similar issues and got though 2 coaches too. Then Smith came along who could man-manage...

It's an interesting view though, if it's the case then pray tell why Hudds have made such great strides under Brown with only 2 or 3 notable additions to the squad that Jon Sharp had?

It's noticeable that certain people on this board haven't commented on this thread, this is down to narrow mindedness on there part.

It's all too easy for some to blame the coach when deep down we know that the players should be taking the blame. You can see that the best performing players this season are the new members of the team ie. Calderwood, Moa and the younger kids ie. Hall, briscoe.
