Thank you Wilf for another great read. Your piece about Johnny Whiteley leaves me feeling slightly cheated, I've seen some great players play for Hull FC, but I would of love to have being able to see this great man play. Even us fans that never had that pleasure, to us he is a True Hero.
So many times the word 'Legend' gets branded about. Gentleman John IS a true legend; he's a real local hero that has never forgotten his roots. His passion is still there for all to see and he always has time to talk rugby to anyone.
