Personally, I do not dismiss Starbug's words lightly.

I get the impression that community stadiums, if run by the beaurocrats, can have a negative/neutral impact on outfits using the facility.

When we were at York pre-season last year, York fans were telling us how much money it was costing the club to play there, in a similar set up.

Obviously we need the stadium to survive SL.

So we must, and I'm sure the powers that be will insist, ensure that financially we are OK with the arrangement.

I would imagine that only a portion of the gate/Bar/food/car park/etc. money will go into Trinity accounts.

It's probably due to Health & Safety, Pom Pom's can be dangerous.

I thought the Stadium is to be owned and run by the Wildcats Community Trust and not Wakefield MDC and the visit was to look at the set up more than the management structure but thanks for the warning.

That is correct. Also, the amount we can afford to pay for the use of the stadium has been central to the development of the costings for the scheme.



I would thank Starbug for his warning - there have been a few issues with the LSV scheme - but I would hope that we have learned those lessons.

To be fair not being able to see in toilets can make it pretty messy!
