Thats bloody good, for a widnes v wakey friday night televised game.
The state of The M62, is enough to put off many traveling fans, so i think we will have contributed admirably.

| Quote Trojan Horse="Trojan Horse"Not sure about the ones you listed being very good.
Clarke, Moore and maybe briscoe although lost form last year.
Phelps is steady, cross hasn't broken any pots in SL despite playing at top teams. He did get knocked out twice in one game though
.
In all seriousness nobody is taking wishes lightly. The fact it's the first SL game, you have home advantage is reason enough for wakey to be cautious.
Wishes have signed better than Salford at least IMO. There has been alot more investment in wakefield 2012 and I feel we are being underestimated but.. Wouldn't have it any other way

Just hoping for a good game'"
Wishes?
I think Phelps will be more than steady at Widnes imo and having him, Watts, Hanbury and Briscoe in our backs, i'm more than confident we can score the points to keep us from the bottom. Clarke has been a consistant SL player for Warrington and we will get a few years out of him. As for Moore, if he sorts his discipline out he is a quality SL player.
I don't underestimate Wakefield at all. Brand new squad who have made some good signings. Widnes and Betts are under no illusion the Wildcats are coming to the Stobart all guns blazing tonight.
I cant wait and the crowd is going to be 8,000+ which i think is a tremendous effort from both clubs considering it's a televised game.

| Anyone want to predict what the new overly penalised petty offence will be in the opening few games?
I'm going to throw this one out there... Being offside from a drop out.

| I think the ptb is going to be the focus for the first few rounds - incorrect ptb, hands-in and markers not square will all be in the firing line.
The forward pass will continue to go un-punished, but only for Leeds and Wigan.
