The main problem is the perception that the big guns get more favourable treatment, and the only way they could get round that is by being harsher on the big names, which of course is also unfair.



If Stosic runs out on Sunday and Cunningham scores the winning try that helps us up the table, all of this will be forgotten.

I think it’s disgusting that Ben Cockayne can get a 1 match ban for a grapple tackle (that wasn’t penalised at the time or even classed as a penalty 3 years ago) because it was [ipotentially[/i dangerous yet Kieron Cunningham can intentionally punch someone in the face, yet get a warning because he [iaccidently [/ihit his eye!

fwiw i don't think the incident itself warranted a long ban or anything and certainly it shouldn't have anything to do with whether he injured Stosic, but i think a 1 match ban would have been fair.

My point was how inconsistent the disciplinary actions are. There must be a defining factor and maybe player status is it.

I agree up to a point BUT how many thousands of KIDS watched that game and now feel its ok to do punch on the field, after all it seems its ok with the RFL and no doubt if they do it the refs won't mind.
