I sometimes think the mods on here are too keen with locking threads and editing posts.



It's a fans forum, rumour and debate are all they exist for.



People will loose interest. I can understand it if a court case was coming up but what will happen to this forum if people debate the reasons behind 2 rugby players being suspended.



Do we believe that everyone, including moderators won't be talking about this on Sunday and sky commentators etc



Personally I am not bothered but free speech is what forums are all about.



Come on somebody tell me what's happened

In all honesty Walrus, Standee is full of rubbish. He is notorious for his disgust of anything related to Wakefield so i wouldn't read much into what he writes.

No blows were struck, no public involved but a breach of club rules on the way back from the game, end of. Work it out yourself, basically feck all and should have been dealt with behind closed doors.

Maybe so - but it's a judgement call and we (the mods) are all very happy with each others judgement. These items are discussed between us in PM's and on the mods board.



FWIW - what PB has said is correct. The matter is a breach of the rules and has been dealt with. There is no other story here and at least one of those involved has apologised already.



No speculation linking this with any other issue will have any truth in it - and that includes selling players (or not) and any stories of financial difficulties (of which there are none). We remain a club with a bright future and with people working hard on football and non-football issues to bring us the success we crave.

What people do away from this site is not our concern and the "free speech" you mention would see this board closed down, it's a balancing act to keep things in order without killing threads, you can't please everyone.
