The relegation decider against Castleford will always stand out for me, but the Leeds game last season was possibly the most complete performance of Kear's reign.

Been a few good ones but that doesn't mean Kear was a god, there were some terrible and key defeats...
- Losing 12-56 to Shudds after I thought we'd finally found a good coach.
- Losing 14-70 to Hull KR, who missed a lot of kicks.
- Losing 0-52 to Shudds at home whilst high in the league
- Losing 6-54 to Shudds at home during our "best ever SL season."
- Losing 24-42 to Hull then giving up on what "should" have been our best SL season.
- Losing 6-56 to Shudds
- Losing 12-56 to Shudds
- Losing 10-20 at home to Crusaders
- Losing 6-40 at home to Crusaders
- Losing 8-44 to Leeds with one of the worst 1st halves I've ever seen.
- Losing 24-60 to Wire, who took the pee.
Plus plenty more McNally inspired London away type performances from capable squads....

Everyone does it, I'm sure it would have gone down well if I showed masses of positivity in the Hickey threads. You know I like em big Al!! I've not once mocked or bagged Hickey. I was going to even stick up for him in one of the threads but I know what I'll receive. Same I did when I waxed lyrical about Hood, Catic, Elima, Grond and Winterstein. I'm not a sheep.
TBH Al it's not as though we are unbeaten under JK, to not show frustration to me says you [idon't care[/i. I'm just pretty frustrated how Kear is putting the spin on things, noting 2 or 3 minor things he achieved and that a coach has a 5 year life cycle. He's been no better than McNally for me. He gave us the new coach syndrome just like the last 5 or 6 have. We've always had great results since 1999 but I don't want any of them to be a sole reflection of the coach.  |
