Putting aside the Brough speculation I am slightly perturbed that in recent weeks the club have responded to press reports about J.K. taking the England job and again when the press reported on a financial matter relating to Terry Newton.

So far,no response from the club and the naming of another coach under contract at another club does,on this occasion,give the story a little credence.(Plus the opportunity of a rebuttal.)

I would much prefer it if J.K. issued a statement declining the job if it was offered.That would put an end to it.
