As far as I understand it, Catalan approached Kear, not the other way around, and JK sought the permission of Wakey to see what they had to say, which is perfectly understandable, and was given approval. There was nothing underhand from any side. The issue of compensation ultimately led to Catalan pulling out, and as the statement says, we all move on. JK wasn't and isn't looking to leave Wakey, but simply pursued an approach made to him that was exciting and offered more security. Now the door has been closed, it's as we were, onwards and hopefully upwards, and I think we should just get behind him and the team for the rest of the season.

IF JK was 110% happy, content and committed to Wakey then he would have declined ANY advances.



The fact that he wanted to see what was on offer and was happy to be interviewed for the job tells its own tale.



IF he wasn't interested he wouldn't have spoken to them re the vacant position.

so we have a coach who wants to be elsewhere, we have no new ground despite peoples hard work, no new ground no sl. bv sold,no ground to play in nl if we get booted out. good move by the board that. but i no lets back the bod and jk for HIS team playing total dross.

I do. I had already come to the conclusion that JK was off if he could have been and already aired my concerns that we were left with a coach that everyone including the players would know wanted out.



How are the team going to respond to his coaching now

Fair point, but if I was the club, I would have tried to come to some compromise with Catalan over compensation. We do not in my eyes benefit from JK staying, we are possibly more disrupted than if he had gone

fair point too, theres a credibility issue here for me, but i think the one that gets to me most is it seems that any asset is up for grabs if it reduces the current wage bill. Sorry but im on the last train to doomsville!
