The reason I say it is positive we have been given a life line and now need to build so we need next seasons coach in place before silly season starts

Some would see it as a positive than we can actually start planning for next year in SL. Clearly, we are way behind everyone else in recruitment so the coach needs to be sorted out for next season so the process of signing and retianing players can begin asap.
JK has had some good times with us and bad times. He has been here for quite some time and a new approach with new ideas may be what we need to kick on.

I was really aiming at the OP but you are effectively saying sack him. I see that as a negative right now. He is as much a part of the success of the club as anyone else. The timing for the discussion makes it as negative as the words. |

I’m not saying sack him, his contract is up at the end of the season.
As a bit of background he has been looking at alternatives over the past year, only fair Trinity should do the same. |

Absolutely not - I am in fact saying the opposite; I'm saying that both parties should part amicably because it's the right thing to do, not that anyone should be sacked. Given that JK has applied for several jobs in recent months, it seems clear that he feels the same way; I just hope it's done positively and with no detriment to either party.
