It is good news, he didn't clarify the redundancies, he swept over them. 6 people have lost their jobs through no fault of their own and others have taken a pay cut. I hope people can sleep at night.

By clarification, i mean he gave numbers and the fact the vast majority are now reemployed. Obviously some have lost their job or decided not to return. I didn't expect him to go into specific's i.e. Names and Pay, that would be slightly unprofessional

To true. However inclined as I am not to bag Ted for every woe that befalls us I have to say his PR skills were nil something that was often pointed out. I have no idea if Mr Glover can walk the walk but he can talk the talk and that's a start.

Stability is the key. No witch hunts or finger pointing, let's give him and Kear a chance and back them. We have a lot of new young players who's form will be up and down this season, we will have to show a lot of patience and restraint as fans. That's not me being patronising (yes I do feel the need to qualify everything I say these days). I just know how we all get over excited and have over blown expectations. I'm sure they will all do their best, Kear, Blaymire and whichever youngster drops the first bomb. For me it's like we are stepping back 10 years to when we first entered SL. We will be lucky to win a game and we will have to take that on the chin. As a team we have been severely weakened by recent events.

As much as it pains me to say it, I concur; we must all show restraint and manage our expectations for the rest of the season - hopefully from the terraces, rather than our sofas.

Ditto, it will be tough first off, so lets no pull the club down, lets give them this season to find their feet...

I tend to agree with this. Today is one day, let's not lionise someone just yet....



Thanks for buying the club, good luck with it, but you will be under more scrutiny than any other owner this club has ever had because of the actions of your predecessor. But, that won't be a problem is the club is run in the right way.



I don't expect us to win many games this year, the most important victory may have been this afternoon. (That and -16 for the Catalans is a superb bet this weekend...hopefully to reinvest in the club shop!)

Others have done their part, Andrew Glover has put his money where his mouth is plus there's a lot to be proud of in terms of Squadbuilder, WISCA, WT Supporters Club and obviously the Wakefield Trinity Supporters Trust so now there's no excuses!
