matty made a difference last night, him and kay played off eachother like they had being playing years together

why not give him the shot and we will find out?

Without being negative, i wasn't there, so cannot comment on anyone's abilities, but there is a huge difference between 9s and SL.

You only have to look at the IRB RU Competition to see that.

Perhaps it will give these players a bit of profile, but building players up from a 9s comp is in my view fairly precarious.

Not building Kay up too much but on the showing maybe deserving of his shot at the 17

I have seen Kay a few times in the reserves and he has looked good without being outstanding and I think his kicking game may nees some work which is something that isn't tested as much in 9's.

So other than Moore he would fit in nicely with our standard of half-back play!!

Last night showed we still have problems with drop goals, except Moore as stated, if we had converted more try's the scores would have been so much wider
