Former Trin player Billy Conway had an accident at work today and has lost sight in one of his eyes. We will be holding a fund raising evening at Normanton Knights at some point in the near future (I'll post details when everything is confirmed). If anyone on here would be willing to donate things for us to auction/raffle then we would be more than grateful. All will be welcome at the fund raising evening and we hope to be able to raise enough cash to see him through those difficult first couple of months.

I'm devastated for Billy.
We go back a long way having played our way through the juniors together and then played amateur football in the same team.
Billys a mongrel on the pitch at either sport and you definitely felt better when he was in your team. Conversely Billy is a great bloke off the field.
I'll definitely have a dig around to find something for the auction.
