According to today`s League Weekly tomorrow is the visa authority`s final day of a self-imposed 28 day deadline for replying to visa applications,hopefully by Wednesday we should know whether he is coming or not. The Club have promised to let fans know as soon as they hear, fingers crossed for a good outcome.

Snitchy, Ferguson and JD have all been nothing short of excellent so far. The lads on the bench have also done nothing to warrant them losing their places. Hendo having his best season ever.

I suppose if anyone is at risk it would be Jay Pitts and not because I think he has done anything wrong but it is still early days for him and he is probably less used to the intensity of SL week in and week out.

Simple, he would have to earn his place, but the lad does have quality and if he can show it he will certianly add impact to the side.

Agreed, but I think natural attrition will see to that. I know what you mean and I hope he plays reserve Rugby to start with, but at he end of the day you don't bring someone 12,000 miles to keep them there so I suspect someone will lose their place soon enough. Probably Bibb or Pitts which wouldn't harm them, for Hendo it would be a personal blow but it will keep them all on their toes which is good.

Bibey was limping badly with an ice pack on his knee at the end of yesterdays game. With Moore and Stosic already out of the front row, could Winterstein be used as a prop if we get an further injuries in that area? Failing that could Snitch be moved up to prop with Winterstein replacing him in the second row?

I think he will get his chance sooner or later, the back row, thankfully, is one area where we haven`t had many injuries so far, I think Snitch & Hendo have missed 1 game each, otherwise we`ve had a full complement to pick from, unrealistic to expect this to continue given our luck so far, barring injuries he will only get selected on merit, just like any other player.

Personally i think this is a waste of a signing, i think we have enough cover in the second row, we need another front rower! I hope he proves me wrong and is awesome, but feel sorry for who ever he replaces. I cant see JK bringing someone over here to play in reserves!
