Matty has developed a wonderful positional sense in defence that marks out the best full-backs.
I am sure that he can still further develop his attacking link-ups and when does he has to be in contention for another cap.

Last year he had an up and down season which wasn't helped by injuries.
Been absolutely outstanding this season, even better than the brilliant form he showed the season before last. Our most naturally gifted player by far and his one on one tackling has improved significantly this season, saved us on numerous occasions again.

No he did not - I for one was disgusted by it. I hope Matty re-signs but if he doesn't he goes with my blessing and he would grace any team. Great player. |
