I took my grandson watching the Chuckle Brothers in 'The Pirates of the River Rother' at Manchester a few years ago. Part of the show was them squirting water from super soakers over the audience, subsequently, we was escorted out after I threw a Stella bottle full of urine back at them. They were going to press charges as well, the miserable gets.

I was around in those days, and at the risk of acute embarassment I think he's front row, just to the right of the ball...........but I have had a few whacks on the head since then.

I remember him as a really usefiul player.

Early 70's one year we beat Stains and Leeds inthe first rounds of the challenge cup, then lost to some nobodies when we were nailed on for Wembley. Warren Ayres had an outstanding game aginst Leeds.

And that shirt's better than our new one as well!

That's definately him. First game for Wire was against Wigan in either the Locker or Wardonia Cup. One of those players who never really fulfilled his potential.
