We've failed to win a trophy, or any big game under Lam, we've had a handful of 80 minute performances, and now we are failing to complete the basics.



The whole Edwards/Lam pipedream is now more a really boring, predictable and repetitive nightmare.

Lam and Winder look absolutely hopeless. Surely we’d do no worse with SOL & MP for the rest of the season.



Child continues to be ridiculous…he has given a good 5 or 6 to Saints in key areas that were marginal at worst, and the Coote/Marshall one there was laughable.



That last play there sums attitude up…Coote should’ve been in the stand there.

What sort of decision was that ? Coote wasn’t tackled

Everything that is wrong in RL at the moment has been visible in this game tonight. Sub-standard play from both sides and dreadful referring and interpretation of rules. This is supposed to be the biggest game in our game but I’d find it hard to promote playing RL to young people or advertising it as a ‘must watch’ as a spectator off the back of what we see across the game.

Whilst that ref was dreadful, we were hopeless.

Coote wasn't tackled so how can Marshall (?) be penalised ? If anything Coote did a 'voluntary tackle' which used to be a penalty . That 'try', he lost possession, then had a finger on it when it hit the ground IMHO.

We’ve no chance of turning this around this season with Lam in charge but I feel quite positive watching that second half that long term we’ll be fine. We need some signings and a new coach but the young talent is there, we still have quality players like Faz, Bateman, French, Hardaker etc and things can turn pretty quickly with some good decisions.

Awful to watch under Woolf. He’ll have won the lottery if he ends his second season with two grand final wins and a challenge cup. He should ring Justin Holbrook and get his address to send over a massive bottle of champagne. He’s taken them a good distance backwards but the league is so poor, they’re still winning things.

He’ll be happy with it Lam no doubt. He was clapping and smiling at the end and looked pretty chuffed with how it had gone.

Lam is absolutely deluded. I can't believe he can say what he does eith a straight face.

We aren’t miles off…we’re just miles off with Lam. The right coach even coming in at this point could put us up there come the end of the season. A kick try, a trickle ball on the floor try, and one when we were down to 11. Small changes stop those things happening.



JH back in the halves, a fullback back at fullback, and we’d be right back up there with the right coach. We can work round the prop issue IMO short term, and as a group generally they haven’t been too bad against the best 2 packs in the league.

That in itself is a sackable offence. To put that level of performance in against your fiercest rivals and BE HAPPY with it? Inexcusable.

I feel like I just want him out the door, now. I hardly even care who a caretaker coach would be for the rest of this season.

As I expected he was chuffed. I know he can’t come out and say we’re rubbish but you sense there’s that much self confidence, that he really does feel he’s going ok and at some point the players will catch up and do ok as well.



I bang on about it all the time but I was done with Lam half way through his first season. There wasn’t any basis of a game plan shining through. I didn’t know what we wanted to be and I still don’t. I don’t rate Woolf and Saints are so poor to watch but you know what he wants. He wants them to complete high, compete, play for field position and use Coote out the back to create and guys like Walmsley and Paasi to barge over in the middle. His method is a bit Wane esq whereas I’m not sure what Lam wants us to be and I sense the players are even less sure.
