My heart bleeds for them, they have won the cup and unless an miracle happens they will finish a few places below us in the league and we won't have a trophy. He has changed them from perennial losers to cup winners in less than a season.



Brown has changed Hudds to cup finalists in a short space of time as well at a club that charged £80 for season tickets and has about 6 fans.



Meanwhile three seasons from Noble taking over we look no better then in 2007.



One of the arguments about keeping Nobby was "Who is available?", well Smith was and IL failed to move for him.



The achievements of Smith and Brown at their respective clubs are all the evidence you need to show why Noble isn't good enough.

Why should he though? We're not a charity. The club is already saddled with debt (most of it IL's). Also he wasn't reluctant to pay £100k for Gleeson.

Smith has one of the best squads of players around at his disposal. He has a huge athletic pack and some very handy players in the backs. Dont be fooled into thinking he is some kind of coaching genius who has won the cup with a squad of nobodys.

Hes not but Cullen couldnt do it so whats changed?



Noble has not had a squad full of nobodies for 3-4 years and still nothing...we are still big game chokers.

What are these big games we've choked in?

For me if we were to compare wire's squad with are own then we have the better squad overall, the only area they have over us is the frontrow and that showed in the semi. This is why every Wigan supporter on this board is wishing we could sign a decent prop for next year so we can compete in that area as well.
